JONATHAN AFOLABI has spared Dundee an embarrassing cup exit, well at least for the moment, with a late goal against Bonnyrigg Rose.
Afolabi and his teammates looked like they were crashing out of the cup when Jonathan grabbed a dramatic late equaliser to take the game to extra time. The Bonnybrigg keeper looked heartbroken when the goal went in, he had a superb night in goals.

Jonathan is on a season-long loan at Dundee and is due back at Celtic come the summer. The Irishman will be disappointed he’s not managed to make the first team for Celtic and will be hoping his experience this season will stand him in good stead for what’s to come next term.
There were a lot of people at Southampton high on Jonathan before he made the move to Celtic with many commenting Celtic had grabbed themselves a player.
We’ll see if he can finally get into the squad when upon his return.
