Celtic have teased a tour of Japan in 2023 with a few short videos on social media.
On the club’s official Twitter page, a video of Jota can be seen.
The Portuguese is seen to be studying Japanese language meanwhile Daizen Maeda walks by quipping ‘benkyou’.

Then, Celtic posted another video of Greg Taylor, Matt O’Riley and Alistair Johnston using chopsticks to eat some sushi:

Media reports over the past few months have spoken about a tour of Japan for Celtic in pre season of the 2023/24 campaign and now, it appears like it could well and truly transpiring.
The marketing opportunities of a potential tour for Celtic would be prosperous meanwhile it gives the club yet another chance to widen the fanbase even further.
Moreover, supporters in Japan will finally be able to see their homegrown heroes such as Kyogo, Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda up close and personal in Hoops.
