Celtic secured a place in the Scottish Cup final with a 6-5 win on penalties against Aberdeen after the match finished 3-3 in extra time.
Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart saved Aberdeen midfielder Killian Phillips’ penalty, which was the Dons’ seventh in the penalty shootout.
Hart did have the chance to win Celtic the shootout, being given Celtic’s fifth penalty, but the Englishman ultimately missed, hitting the post.

One thing that was clear from the shootout was that Celtic’s players can certainly take penalties, with Hart being the only Celtic player to miss a penalty.
The Hoops will face either Hearts or Rangers in the Scottish Cup final, which takes place on May 26th with the second semi-final tomorrow afternoon at 3pm.
There are times within football that make no sense whatsoever, and we managed to produce it all in bucket loads today imo?
To actually end up winning on pens when we have missed so many costly pens already this season?
Beyond me how we even managed to put ourselves into such a position, not once but twice at failing to see the game out?
Our performance yet again was all over the place, with so many failing to deliver to there capabilities yet again, which is becoming so frustrating and annoying in this season of such inconsistencies?
Again we leave ourselves wide open upon such questionable decision making being made?
Delighted we are in the final, but yet again showing that we can’t afford to take anything for granted whatsoever?
