Christopher Jullien came away with a fantastic one liner after the media grilled him on his cup final goal.

Depending on what camera you view it from it looks very tight but the media were gung-go talking about VAR on Friday afternoon with the Frenchman in the firing line.

Asked if he thought his goal would’ve counted if VAR was in use – Jullien raised a smile and explained what he saw and how he never once thought he was offside because he seen the defender in front of him while the Val was played.

However, the best line was left for last when he said.

“Everyone is still talking about it, but I still have the medal in my house”

Absolute belter from the big man.

Celtic won the game 1-0 on the day and they’ve not stopped crying about it since. Is it now a coincidence the SFA are seeking a study on VAR with a view to implanting it in Scottish football?
