There has been nothing but talk of Scottish officiating for the past 3 weeks. VAR has become a huge discussion in all countries since the World Cup. There has been much debate about its benefits amongst Celtic fans when refs like John Beaton witnesses 3 incidents he deems ok when clearly any other ref would of giving out cards for.

However, the use of video footage in tonight’s 3rd round of the Scottish Cup would have got Scott Sinclair his hat-trick today.

While you can forgive the odd offside decision that goes against you, it is still hard to think of another sport where so many bad and costly decisions get made. Sinclair had a wobbly start to the game, he missed a penalty and a sitter that made you think it was going to be on of those days for the Englishman. Scott kept his head and managed to grab a brace each side of halftime.

  1. Referrees and their assistants what can you say. One referree (Not the actualy ref for the tie I must add) managed to stop the cowden game. So sevco don’t have to worry aboot slippin up on a tough and cold surface.

  2. When is this all going to stop this decision was a shocker.Im even thinking chris Boyd would agree or probably not as he is to busy sorting out more important things like managers futures
