Celtic have enjoyed a number of memorable victories at the home of the fiercest rivals over the years.

A 5-1 triumph in current manager Brendan Rodgers’ first season in charge initially comes to mind as does a 3-2 win under the 50 year old in which Odsonne Edouard fired a ten men Hoops side to victory.

Many years ago, however, one of the most iconic Celtic wins at Ibrox took place in which a certain Lubomir Moravcik came to the fore.

In 2001, Martin O’Neill’s men triumphed by three goals to nil and some previously unseen footage of said victory has recently surfaced.

Celtic TV posted on Twitter unique angle footage from that day which shows some immense scenes in the Celtic end after each goal:

Lubo opened the scoring in the second half with a wonderful solo effort before doubling his side’s lead when he cut inside on his man and finished at the near post.

Henrik Larsson got the third from an overly tight angle and the Bhoys walked away with a 3-0 win that lived long in the memory of everyone involved with Celtic.

In the future and going into next season, fans will be hopeful victories of this ilk at Ibrox are common.
