While Nicolas Kuhn stole the headlines with a stunning performance up front, scoring two of Celtic’s goals, Hatate was equally brilliant in his own right.

He capped off his strong showing by netting Celtic’s third goal, sealing the game in emphatic fashion. But the real moment of magic came during the build-up to Kuhn’s second goal when Hatate pulled off a remarkable no-look pass.

In the middle of a quick, sweeping Celtic attack, Hatate slid the ball to Greg Taylor without even looking, completely catching the Leipzig defence off-guard:

The precision and creativity in that pass showed just how much confidence and composure Hatate has in his locker. Taylor made the most of the move, assisting Kuhn to put Celtic in the driving seat.

Hatate’s performance reflects a player hitting top form at the right time. His recent outings have shown an increasing level of consistency and maturity, blending his natural skill with a sharp eye for the game. For Celtic fans, Hatate’s rise will only fuel hope that he can continue to deliver these performances on the biggest stage.
