JOSIP JURANOVIC scored his first goal since he made the move to Union Berlin in the side’s 3-1 over Ajax.

The former Celtic star went head to head with Calin Bassey, who started at left-back for the Dutch side.
Josip was playing on the right of a back five, but was further advanced in the attacking phases of play.
He’s been making the headlines since his move to Germany, making a mockery of the £7 million fee Celtic received; Berlin will be pretty chuffed about the bargain signing.
Level after he first leg, Juranovic scored the second goal of the night which doubled his side’s advantage. His strike from outside of the box caught the goalkeeper by surprise, as he really should’ve done better.
He created two chances for his team on Thursday night, scoring one and assisting another. He won all of his duels and made four successful challenges, with Sofascore giving him a 9.1 rating.
It’s now three assists and one goal in five starts for the former Celtic right-back as his stock continues to rise.
Union Berlin are third in the Bundesliga, level on points with Dortmund and Bayern and into the last 16 of the Europa League.
