Once billed as the next big thing to come out of Lennoxtown, it never worked out for former wonder kid Karamoko Dembele at Celtic. The young winger departed the club last summer, and now plies his trade for Blackpool.
The now 20-year-old is on loan at the English League One club from French top-tier side Brest and over the weekend, scored his first ever goal since departing Glasgow. Pressing well high up the pitch, the tricky little winger won the ball back effectively.
One-on-one with the ‘keeper, Dembele then powerfully finished in off the cross-bar:
Kaddy's first for the Seasiders. 🚀

This was the first goal Dembele has bagged since leaving Celtic over a year ago. He made 18 appearances for Brest last season without netting and waited till his fifth Blackpool game to score.
His record isn’t the most prodigious although after scoring and assisting in each of his last two, Dembele looks to be on an encouraging run of form South of the border.
