Celtic defeated Inverness by three goals to one on Saturday evening as Ange Postecoglou etched his name into the club’s history books.

A world record eighth domestic treble was secured by the Bhoys although after the game that it was secured in, one could not seem to get away from speculation surrounding a potential move to Spurs for Postecoglou.

Reports, rumours and the like have been widespread over the Premier League side’s interest in the Australian but naturally, everyone involved with Celtic wants him to stay at the club.

Whether or not this will happen is currently unknown.

Nevertheless post match on Saturday, Martin O’Neill done what every Celtic fan would’ve when speaking to Postecoglou.

The Northern Irishman can be heard in the clip below saying to Ange that everyone wants him to stay at the club:

As can be seen in response to this, Postecoglou was rather unmoved but did give his appreciation.

His future is currently uncertain although whatever happens this summer, the 57 year old will be fondly remembered in Glasgow’s east end for years to come.

  1. He’s going on holiday Tuesday. I guess we’ll know tomorrow or we’ll wait till he gets back. Hopefully he rejects it or at least takes his holiday to weigh things up. Regardless, he’ll stay or go with our best wishes.
