Kyogo’s first-half volley which arrowed into the bottom corner was the difference as Celtic defeated their city rivals by a goal to nil on Sunday afternoon. It was a victory that sent the Bhoys to the top of the table and four points ahead of the Ibrox side.
After the match, a few players were carrying out their media duties, goalscorer Kyogo being one of them. The 28-year-old was speaking to Celtic TV when Matt O’Riley interrupted to give him a hug:

It is fair to say that if any Hoops supporter bumped into the talismanic Japanese striker today, they would do precisely what O’Riley had done. Week after week, Kyogo continues to defy belief and prove his worth to his side.
Between now and the end of the current campaign, it is more than certain he will score several goals that match the ilk of today’s. In a big game, Kyogo came to the fore and put in a display that proved his status as Scottish football’s foremost striker.
