Kyogo Furuhashi was the hero for Celtic on Sunday as the Bhoys ran out 1-0 winners at Ibrox. Every player, though, more than played their part in the victory.
Off the bench in the second half, young Norwegian midfielder Odin Thiago Holm stepped up to the plate when coming on for David Turnbull. In the middle of the park, Holm read the game well and put in a fair few tough tackles.
In flashes, the 20-year-old has disclosed what he can do to Hoops’ fans. He was only on for 24 minutes at the weekend but was more than noticeable and could’ve had a goal of his own when Jack Butland held his effort from far out.

After the game on Sunday evening, a video surfaced of Holm in his house. The midfielder could be seen with a small football, showing off his silky moves as his dog chased after the ball:

Albeit this video is comical, the sheer talent and close control of Holm and footballers in general is evident here. Many supporters think it would be easy to go into a game and play, although the level of skill and close control that professionals possess is sky-high.
Holm has talent and wasn’t a 2023 Golden Boy nominee for nothing. It would be encouraging to see him be given more minutes after the international break, as he arguably played better than David Turnbull when he came on on Sunday.
And his tackle at full time when he wiped out Barbie doll pure quality hail! hail!.
