Odsonne Edouard must have glanced over at the bench on Tuesday evening and seen he was about to be subbed before he scored a magnificent individual goal.

The Frenchman had played well all evening but hadn’t got on the scoresheet when Neil Lennon was about to bring him off in anticipation of Saturday’s game against Dundee Utd.

With his last kick of the game, he found the net after waving in and out of defenders who didn’t know what hit them.

Celtic didn’t have to get out of second gear to go ahead in the game and one they got the first goal, there was no looking back. A great performance and start to their Champions League campaign.

The club will now need to wait until tomorrow to discover who they will be facing next week at Celtic Park either Ferencvaros or Djurgarden will come up against the Scottish champions.

  1. Good win yet 4 players once again failed when defence is tight, Forrest, Brown, and Christy and Taylor most of his back passing. Once again
