CELTIC TV had Joe Hart and Jota on commentary duties as they took a look back to the Hoops’ first game of the season against Aberdeen.
Welsh opened the scoring for the Hoops, getting on the end of Matt O’Riley’s corner before Jota hit his first screamer of the season to give the Hoops a 2-0 lead.
Watching the set piece back, the pair admitted that the corner had been worked on in training, with Gavin Strachan the mastermind behind it all.
The Celtic coach has been getting a lot of praise since Ange Postecoglou walked into the building, with Hatate’s improvement this season credited to the former midfielder.
As the Bhoys watched Jota’s screamer from outside of the box, Joe Hart started the chant that players are so used to hearing from the terraces. He started, “Every time you’re on the ball we know”, then Jota finished “there’s gonna be a goal”.
It’s always interesting to hear the players’ perspectives on games they were involved in through these sorts of videos, giving a different insight into the matches.
