Celtic Women were defeated by a goal to nil at home to Rangers on Thursday evening as it was made much tougher for Fran Alonso’s Ghirls to win the SWPL title.
In the match, the visitors went one nil up 65 minutes in although before half time, Celtic had a goal chopped off for a foul that was extremely soft.
The goal really should’ve stood and if it did, the SWPL title could’ve been more likely to have been heading for Parkhead.
Nevertheless, nothing can be done to reverse what happened now but whilst the match itself was transpiring, news on a Celtic romance was let slip.
Speculation on social media has been widespread on a relationship between Carl Starfelt and Celtic Women star Jacynta and Ian Crocker said on Sky last night that the Swedish defender was in attendance to watch his partner:

Not many would’ve expected this romance to be a thing although it is certain Starfelt and Jacynta will be wished all the best.
For their respective sides, they are key contributors and as long as their performances don’t dip as a result of what goes on off the pitch, Hoops fans will be happy.
