Celtic were fully deserved 1-0 winners at Ibrox this afternoon. It was a terrific performance from the Bhoys under some of the most testing circumstances in a derby for years.
At the back, Liam Scales stood out although in attack, it was striker Kyogo Furuhashi who turned out to be the game-changer. The Japanese forward missed a few opportunities in the first half yet at the end of it, he came to the fore.

Joe Hart went long and the ball broke for Matt O’Riley in midfield. The Danish central midfielder nodded through the middle and Kyogo hit it first time on the volley into the bottom corner:

Few believed the goal would stand initially but on review, the 28-year-old was clearly onside. Ibrox was utterly silenced when the ball went into the back of the net.
The strike came at the correct time for the Hoops who put in a performance that was worthy of winning any derby. Brendan Rodgers’ men were as professional as ever as they moved four points clear of their city rivals.
