CELTIC have dropped two points on Saturday afternoon at Easter Road in a frustrating encounter from start to finish.

A freak own goal would put the home side ahead and give them a shot in the arm. Celtic would get back into the game with a great bit of attacking play from a quick set piece. Bauer crossing for Ryan Christie whose looping header found the back of the net.

It was a scrappy game and Hibs made life very difficult for Celtic to get into any rhythm.

Celtic should be doing better against Hibs but their cause was not helped by not one but two penalty decisions not given by referee Kevin Clancy.

The second of which was the most blatant of fouls with the assistant in full view.

Celtic go four points clear of the Ibrox club but Steven Gerrard’s men can cut the gap to just one point with a win later today. I wonder if they’ll see any penalties.
