Celtic put their arch rivals Rangers to the sword in a thorough 1-0 victory at Hampden this afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou and his Bhoys advanced to the Scottish Cup final as a result of their victory although before the match kicked off, there was some impressive pyrotechnics from the stands:

Despite the smoke from this pyro disrupting the match and causing kick off to be delayed by a few minutes, the colours and and visual appeal when it initially transpired was imposing, as seen above.

A number of supporters are against the use of pyrotechnics at football games but it is fair to say they certainly add to the atmosphere and overall spectacle of the match.

Going forward, it is certain Celtic fans and the club’s Ultras groups, The Bhoys and Green Brigade, will continue to make use of pyro, no matter who is against it.

The motto ‘no pyro no party’ was certainly lived up to today in the Celtic end.
