As we reported yesterday, Vakoun Bayo opened his Celtic account for the Reserves against Dundee and the club has now posted the match highlight for the fans to see their new striker in action.

Vakoun has only made a cameo appearance for the bhoys at Rugby Park so far.

Former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers admitted it would take a bit of time for Bayo to get up to speed before he could get a proper run in the team.

He certainly made an impact yesterday in front of Neil Lennon who was in attendance at the reserve game.

Celtic were 6-0 winners on the day with many players upping their game with the manager in the stands.

Lennon will be running the rule over anyone he believes could be of use to the first team going forward. The Irishman will no doubt have been given food for thought in Bayo’s case who looks strong and from his exploits elsewhere, looks good in the air.
