Jozo Simunovic has described the moment he and his teammates were on the field winning comfortably against Hearts when a roar came from the stands.

The Croatian told CelticTV after the game he and the players knew someone was going on as the noise level went up even further.

Talking after the game about their result and results elsewhere, the big man was clearly delighted.

“Good night for all of us, good result, other results as well, we can be only happy.”

“But let’s talk about us

“We knew that something was happening when they started to cheer but the most important thing for us is we finish our game the right way.

“They finished how they finished, that’s good for us but there’s a lot of games to play”

Celtic were on fire, especially in the second half against Hearts. Five goals without reply with Jozo scoring one of them and the late goals from Rugby Park had Celtic Park bouncing. A rare midweek game stadium huddle and a roar on the 89th minute when news of Eamon Brophy had put Killie ahead.

What a night!

Celtic now have to hammer home their advantage in the next few weeks. They have perhaps their toughest away day against Aberdeen who are in decent form and we must keep up the pressure.
