CELTIC FANS were in top form in Germany over the past few days, culminating in a 4,000 strong corteo to the game on Thursday night.

The bhoys sang and represented their club in the right way with good spirit shown throughout.

However, this spirit was not matched by the team on the field and after 30 minutes it all fell apart in an all too familiar away scene in Europe.

Celtic started the game well and didn’t look overawed but then before we knew it a defensive lapse had let Leipzig in and the usual collapse occurred.

The 5,000 inside the stadium kept their spirits up by singing throughout the game and they could still be heard at full time as the bhoys walked off the pitch.

Not the result we wanted but the fans again showing how much they support the bhoys through thick and thin.

This prompted one Celtic fan to sum it up nicely on the night.

Hard to disagree with that.
