AARON MOOY has already played in this year’s World Cup, with Cameron Carter-Vickers making the bench for the US national side.
The first round of matches are nearly over, but there are still two more Celts to feature in the tournament. Josip Juranovic and Daizen Maeda are set to play in some capacity on Wednesday, with their respective countries getting their World Cup underway.
Josip will feature first, with the right-back expected to start in Croatia’s match against Morocco at 10 am. ITV will be covering the encounter.
Japan will then face Germany in a 1 pm kick-off. Maeda will be looking to start the match, but nothing is guaranteed in the World Cup. ITV will also be showing this match.
It’s great to see four Celts on the world stage. Hopefully, they can all impress for their countries before returning to Celtic to prepare for the second part of the season as the club look to secure the title.
