Celtic continue their pursuit of six in a row this afternoon as they welcome a club who has never played on the hallowed turf of Celtic Park.

The first Glasgow derby of the new season, sees Rangers (est.2012) come to the East End of Glasgow for a showdown in front of a packed house.

Brendan Rodgers has not recoiled when people called his team favourites today but instead said “When you’re Celtic and you play at home, you’re expected to win” – never a truer word spoken.

Whether the opposition be a newly promoted side like today or Barcelona, the objective is always to win.

Today’s game kicks off at 12pm and will usher in a new chapter for Glasgow in terms of derbies in the top flight. It will be a spectacle, it will be electric and it will certainly be hotly contested.

So if you’re going along to the game today, enjoy yourself an above all else, stay safe! Hail Hail!!

Welcome to Paradise!
