This afternoon’s loss to Hibernian halted Celtic’s title party until Sunday, 29th April when they face The Rangers at Paradise – 12pm K.O. Presuming Aberdeen and The Rangers win their games this weekend.
The Bhoys simply weren’t good enough against Neil Lennon’s men, although that will all be forgotten when they extend their unbeaten run against the Gers to 11 games.
Brendan Rodgers seemed eager to secure the magnificent seven against the Ibrox side before the split and his dream is set to come true.
The Celts inflicted pain on their city rivals last Sunday by strolling to the Scottish Cup Final in a 4-0 victory at Hampden Park and a similar result is on its way.
Will the Rangers support be able to take another loss or walk away again? That will be found out in due course and we cannot wait!
