English Premier League side West Ham United have announced the signing of Celtic youngster Armstrong Oko-Flex.

The young winger has signed a two-year deal, with the option of a third with the Hammers after his contract expired at the Hoops this summer.

Oko-Flex joined the club in former manager Brendan Rodgers final seasons as one of his last summer signings from Arsenal, where he also impressed as a youngster.

In the 2018/19 season, he made the bench twice – in a crucial fixture against Kilmarnock, which was famous for Scott Brown’s late winner at Rugby Park and the final day victory over Hearts.

Last season he also made two appearances for the club during the Dubai situation, which saw 13 first-team players having to self-isolate.

The deal was confirmed on West Ham’s website, confirming that the Republic of Ireland u19s had a trial at the London side towards the end of last season.
