CELTIC have been linked with a move for Irish international Robbie Brady over the weekend and Celtic fans have been reacting to the news.
RecordSport revealed the bhoys are interested in a pre-contract move for the Burnley star and could have him in the Hoops by the summer.
Social media always gives you a good gauge of opinion when it comes to anything Celtic.
When the news broke, there was a mixed reaction from Hoops supporters, mostly though, there were many down on the idea.
Outwith Celtic, there were also Irish fans who believed that Brady heading to Celtic wouldn’t serve the player. Perhaps they’re seeing Shane Duffy’s form for the bhoys and believe it’s somehow playing for Celtic that’s brought him down a level, which would be untrue.
Celtic should be aiming as high as possible in the next window but we’ll likely see more pre-contract deals as the club get prepared for an exodus. If it’s Brady who does come in as part of a revamp, there will be some who won’t be happy.
Celtic’s new (old) signing policy; if he’s Irish he’s in.
We’ll become a living parody of ourselves if this is how it’s going to be.
There are better we need to look far and wide for those better for money players we need to stop giving good money away for players that can no longer get a good pay day..
