Brendan Rodgers has previewed Celtic’s League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen on Saturday at Hampden.
Having let a 2-0 lead slip against Jimmy Thelin’s side at Celtic Park a couple of weeks ago, Rodgers was definite that the same won’t happen again on Saturday.
He said: (BBC Scotland), “We should have won against Aberdeen, we went a bit slack but we’ll learn from that. I’m really pleased with the squad, we’ve been fantastic with lots of improvements to make.”
“It was a really good game against them here [at Celtic Park].
“We’ll be ready for that, we love going to Hampden. We’re in a good place, getting players back so we’ll be ready.”
Spot on from Rodgers. Aberdeen aside, in the second half at Celtic Park a few weeks ago, the Hoops have been excellent domestically.
With Callum McGregor and Adam Idah in contention to play, Celtic may have a full-strength team, which they will need, as Aberdeen showed against Rangers at Pittodrie this evening.

They may not dominate games for 90 minutes, but in spells, they will score goals and create clear-cut chances.
It is set up to be an excellent game on Saturday night, in which the Hoops will need to be at their very best to win.
We still remain a much better footballing team than the sheep?
Confident enough that we will prove that on Saturday evening also?
We will also be the fresher team after tonight. Along with the sheep haven’t been involved in 2 high intensity games in only a few days apart, yet this season?
We have the intensity to blow the sheep away, but need to be far more clinical than what we were tonight?
Admittedly we did switch off, with our intentions drifting to the CL encounter, last time out against the sheep?
Can’t see that happening again with ourselves on Saturday.
Expect ourselves to be tested, but also believe our far greater quality will shine through, long before the final whistle also imo?
Like most games we play in Scottish football these days, the margin of our victory will be determined by just how clinical we are in front of goal?
Don’t see any changes in that format, come Saturday either imo?
