LEIGH GRIFFITHS has taken to social media after finally getting back onto the field in a competitive game for Celtic for the first time in 2019.
The Celtic striker got on during the second half of Celtic’s 2-1 against Sarajevo last Wednesday and looked to shake off the cob webs.
It’s been an emotional journey for the frontman who was taken away from the limelight by Celtic and Brendan Rodgers back in November when Leigh was in trouble.
His mental health being more important than any football game, the Celtic faithful backed their striker all the way and have supported him through the dark times.
As he comes out the other end, it’s great to see Leigh come out and articulate how he’s feeling and perhaps help others in desperate situations.
