The greatest fans in the world tag gets a good freshening up every time the Celts play Europen football. Going back to Seville in 2003, Celtic fans have left nothing but respect and admiration in their wake.
Results may not always go Celtic’s way but for songs, colour, and noise Celtic fans just cannot be beaten. I’ve read that Dortmund could give us a run for our money, but I’ve watched a few of their games in the last few seasons and while they have the capacity and color, they don’t have the noise.
PSG fans like so many other clubs on an ever growing list of admirers were so impressed by the Celtic Park noise that apparently they lined something up for the traveling Tims tonight. They said in a French newspaper that they wanted to pay homage to Celtic. What that means has been kept under wraps. While everyone would probably prefer the results to be better the “Greatest Fans In The World” tag keeps the reputation of the club on par with anyone in Europe.
