CHRIS SUTTON has been left confused by the situation at Celtic after Dedryk Boyata did NOT fly with the Celtic team to Lithuania due to injury.
The defender who pulled a sickie last week for the Athens game was brought back into the fold earlier this week to train with the first team and the Celtic manager confirmed there had been clear the air talks.
However, upon training with the rest of the Celtic squad yesterday before their flight, Boyata declared himself unfit to play and travel with the rest of the squad.
Rodgers confirmed in the pre-match press conference, it was the player who ruled himself out, leaving Sutton rather confused if he’s injured or not.
Very confusing…. fit last week not this week??? What is going on?? https://t.co/oHFNc8TMqw

It looks like the World Cup star has pulled another sickie in order to keep pushing for a move away from the club.
Apparently, the Belgians talk with the manager and Celtic captain Scott Brown hasn’t gone as well as first hoped.
There seems to be no way back for Boyata now – two no shows in a week surely have sealed his fate.
It’s not that complicated. He is getting paid wages so he will train. As for playing for Celtic that will never happen again despite all the rhetoric. Quite simple really.
Get the next offer and let us say bye bye to him.
Stop pandering to this rs either get rid of him or give him the role of the hamper man to the development squad.
