CELTIC has submitted their provisional squad for tomorrow’s game against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and although we have seen him hit the training ground and even join in the warm down with the Celtic players on Thursday, there’s still no sign of Kieran Tierney in the matchday squad.

The defender still seems to be under the watchful eye of the Celtic backroom staff as he continues his comeback from a hip injury.

It feels like a long time since Kieran last played for Celtic. The midfielder has missed some big games like the Ibrox tie, Cup games and the Europa League knockout game with Valencia on Thursday.

Fans are desperate to see Kieran back but it doesn’t look like that will come this weekend unless something significant changes in the next 24 hours.

Provisional squad:

Gordon, Toljan, Lustig, Izaguirre, Boyata, Simunovic, McGregor, Brown, Bitton, Sinclair, Hayes, Forrest, Burke, Weah, Edouard, Christie, Henderson, Johnston, Bain.

Celtic could be only three points ahead of second place by the time they head to Kilmarnock, so it’s imperative the bhoys shake off the Euro hangover quickly.
