It has been a week now since incoming CEO Dominic McKay started working for the club.

Some fans were expecting to hear from McKay over the last week with some sort of update or welcome to the club. However, it looks like that won’t be the case.

This afternoon, Celtic SLO John-Paul Taylor was asked when we could expect to hear from McKay or whether he will be officially unveiled by the club.

JP stated that McKay will be ‘keen to engage’ with the supporters but at this stage, we probably shouldn’t be expected to hear much with his role officially starting on the 1st of July and getting a better understanding of the business side of things at the club, behind the scenes.

It was positive to see that McKay was beginning his role early at the club, especially with how big a job he has on his hands and now also that he is keen to get more of a fan’s perspective of things when the time is right.

The next few weeks will be crucial in the way the club moves forward. Whether that be announcements or the release of the season ticket campaign for next season.
