The Green Brigade continued to their quest to make the suits at Celtic take notice as the transfer window comes to a close. After the group’s silent protest during the Dunfermline game on Saturday, they followed it up with an absolute belter of a banner against AIK.
Unveiled just before kick off, the banner read ‘don’t sleep at wheel’ with Peter Lawell and Celtic’s majority shareholder Dermot Desmond at the front of the car and Neil Lennon in the back. The group then unfurled another banner which was the road to ten in a row.
As banners go that get a point across this was imaginative and well put together by the group.
Celtic won 2-0 against AIK on the night and also announced the return of Fraser Forster to the club during the match. It was a good night all around for the bhoys and let’s hope Celtic have taken notice.
I think they got the message loud and clear,it is time to bring in the players needed to make this a great season and do 9 in a row…
Get the right players in gets you another go at the champions league not quite sure how it goes if we leave the EU we might be outside looking in
