NEIL LENNON said he wouldn’t change too much about the side Rodgers left as continuity was the key. However, we can all see the manager trying to put his own mark on the team early on.

We wrote last week how it looked like one player had become the first casualty of the new Neil Lennon regime when the Irishman dropped Jeremy Toljan for the game against Hibernian, bringing back Lustig for the game at Easter Road.

However, the Dortmund defender wasn’t on the bench for long with Neil bringing him straight back into the team for the Aberdeen game at the weekend. Apart from a couple of forward runs, the defender struggled big time on the day.

Celtic struggled in general but it was clear Toljan was toiling on the field, giving the ball away and not knowing what to do when he had the ball at his feet in an advanced position.

Neil Lennon doesn’t have the luxury of time as he tries to win over the board and the fans that he is the right man for the job. Will he bring Lustig back in now after the poor display by the right back?

  1. Look Neil Lennon will change the team as he sees fit nine games to go and we have 8 point lead four games to the split and we must make sure we take the eight points gap into the split, and in the semi we must give it 110 % to try and keep the treble treble dream alive if these players do the treble treble a feat that may never be repeated those players would become iconic legends, look Neil Lennon will do it his way and have no fear of not getting or not getting the job full time,he said it himself its about what is best for the Celtic fc…..
