CELTIC dropped points earlier on Sunday afternoon before their title rivals played at Ibrox.
At the time, the Hoops had extended their lead at the top to four points. Despite that, BBC put out a post that felt like wishful thinking because it wasn’t based in reality.
Celtic’s draw was disappointing, but there was never any chance of losing top spot after the draw.
The result later in the day at Ibrox meant Celtic were no worse off after their draw at Easter Road and the gap remains three points between the two sides.
The title race is going to have more twists and turns along the way. We can only hope BBC grasp how points work in the interim.
Celtic have hit a bit of a rough patch when it comes to performance. They’ve managed some great results in 2022 but the levels have dipped. The draw at Easter Road needs to be a wake up call.
It is sad that some in all the media outlets push out there feelings with out doing the math some times some people do get carried away with there feelings just think if they did not hold on for the draw Celtic would not just be 3 clear they would have 5 anyway we move on….
