REO HATATE has played down his heroics at Celtic Park back in February when the bhoys blew their Glasgow rivals away in a first half blitz.

In his derby debut, the Japanese midfielder grabbed an impressive brace and the man of the match award.

Reo has come in and done very well for the bhoys, he’s had his quiet games but that’s to be expected considering he’s already played a full season of football in Japan.

Speaking about the last derby, Reo made sure to make it about his teammates and refused to take credit for the victory.

“The result we got against Rangers that night was great but it wasn’t just about me. We got it as a team,” the Celtic star told the Glasgow Times,

“It was also down to the coach and my team-mates because everyone did their best.

“But it wasn’t just down to me alone. Was it a life changing moment for me? Well, that depends on me now. It depends on what I do with my career from now on.

“The game against Rangers on Sunday won’t be the same as the last one.

“Personally, all I have to do is work hard for the team and hopefully we get the same result.”

Celtic have to go play in a hostile Ibrox stadium with only 700 of their own supporters inside the ground on the day.

They have to handle the hot atmosphere as well as an Ibrox squad out to prove a point.

Ange’s teams only know how to play with high intensity, so it should be an interesting battle.

Kyogo Furuhashi is back in the mix but we have no idea what Ange plans to do with the striker.

Giakoumakis has been on an impressive scoring run and will fancy himself to add to his tally tomorrow.

Reo will likely start the game at Ibrox, I’d happily see him score a brace again!
