CELTIC have been looking for a replacement for Stuart Armstrong since the summer.
It turns out he was under their nose the whole time.
Brendan Rodgers put his faith in Ryan Christie for the third consecutive time from the start against Leipzig and the Irishman’s faith has paid off huge.
The player’s work rate was singled out on many footballing social media accounts as he helped Celtic win against the Bundesliga side.
His energy, passing and vision were all refreshing to see. When a month and a half ago you couldn’t buy creativity from a Celtic player, he and others are stepping up to the plate in a big way.
It led the player to declare he was F***ed to Dedryck Boyata in the immediate aftermath of the game.

Christie hasn’t looked back since being brought on for Olivier Ntcham in the second half of Celtic’s League Cup semi-final with Hearts last month.
The midfielder was the game changer that day and has hit the goal trail since.
It’s a testament to Christie himself for putting in the work and it’s now paying off.
Well done that man!
The Boy has turned Man another player who plays with no fear and now other players believe in him he is now a big part of the team, great player
