Celtic’s season was summed up in one passage of play at Ibrox this afternoon when Callum McGregor was sent off but not before play was allowed to continue for the home side to take the lead.
Celtic were down to ten men and got themselves back on level terms but not long after getting their goal through Edouard, Scott Brown allowed Alfredo Morelos in to lash it past Scott Bain to make it 2-1.
It’s half time and Celtic look like they will leave Ibrox with no points this afternoon.
One man who has been receiving a lot of criticism in the first period is Jonjoe Kenny.
The Everton right back has not looked comfortable at all in this fixture and it continued today.
There will be no fond farewells when Kenny heads back to Everton in a few weeks time, that’s for sure.

Let’s be clear, he should not be a scapegoat on the day but he has not covered himself in glory and neither have a lot of his teammates.
This loan move, like many of our deals this season haven’t worked out.

Enough is enough. No one can be bothered. Rangers International are at half speed. Celtic less. This will end up 6 – 1. Every member of the backroom team needs to be sacked. Kennedy for DoF. Why? The defence is a shambles. This season has been shameful. The club should apologise to the supporters and then the board, the management team and every player bar 2 or 3 of them should bugger off. 100% right John they are an absolute joke of a team. Without doubt the worst defence I have seen at Celtic in years. I agree about Ajer should be playing in midfield. As for the rest did anyone out there notice Christie was actually playing. Enough said
Finding words hard to come by to describe what actually happened on that park,Abysmal,Horrendeous,Heartless,Gutless,Clueless.Clear out from all of the backroom staff the Bain, Kenny,Moi I want to play for liverpool Soro,Christie, Johnston, Adjeti, NOT FIT TO WEAR THE JERSEY and there are a few others on the fringe.We dont have a god given right to win every game but we do have a right to expect that our players give 100% hope Dermott was watching and feels as downhearted as a lot of good Celtic supporters do, today was not acceptable.
