YAYA TOURE was honoured after his final game for Manchester City at the Etihad on Wednesday evening and was presented with a framed shirt with his number of appearances printed on the back.

After 316 appearances it’s time for Yaya to head off into the Manchester sunset and seek a new challenge.

Celtic coach Kolo Toure was in attendance as his brother was being honoured and helped present Yaya with his frame.

After the ceremony, Kolo was quick to say his brother isn’t done yet and could easily still play in the Premier League at only 34.

When the Sky Sports presenter asks him if he’s up for bringing his brother to Celtic; Kolo smiled and said: “Why not?”.

Of course, Yaya Toure is just coming off a multimillion pound deal with City and with more money on the table for him in the Premier League, we can think of a good few reasons why not!

  1. Get a grip,He is 34.We need young hungry players. Why do we Always Go for The Oldies who are looking for a last payday. If he gets another Club in the Premier,Good for him.He would no doubt command Silly Money. We dont need him.

  2. Actually wouldn’t mind seeing this happen. Absolutely no chance as we couldn’t afford him. We’ve got a pretty young team with only Broony, Gordon and Lustig that I can think of who are north of 30. A bit of extra experience wouldn’t go amiss. Maybe Compper will provide…
