Celtic Under 20s are on the brink of winning the SPFL Under-20 league title after a comfortable win on Tuesday night against Rangers.

Anything but a win would have handed the Govan side the trophy but two second half goals from Denny Johnstone and John Herron has put Celtic one game away from clinching a 5th league title in a row.

It has been a long season for the young side and they have shown fantastic resolve to claw their way back into title contention.

The Bhoys will now go into Thursdays game against Dundee United knowing all three points will secure them the title.

We wish them all the best!

UPDATE –

The game against Dundee United has been switched from Thursday to Friday.

It now goes ahead at Tannadice on Friday, May 9 with a 1pm kick-off time.
