Celtic ran riot in the second half in tonight’s Glasgow Derby to run out 3-0 winners at the Excelsior Stadium.
Second half goals from Aitchison, Diver and McInroy completed the rout for the young Celtic side.
Celtic were in control of Partick Thistle for most of the match but failed to break them down in the early going.
It was the 57th minute before the young bhoys took the lead thanks to Jack Aitchison who got on the end of a rebounded shot.
However, the game wasn’t out of sight until 15 minutes from time when Celtic grabbed their second. From there the bhoys were comfortable and added a third late on with McInroy.
A great outing for the developmental side who are playing catch up in the league. Sitting in 8th place with a number of games in hand to hopefully climb up the table.
