Neil Lennon managed to land some absolute gems when he was the manager of Celtic. The jewel in the crown though has to be big Virgil Van Dijk. The big Dutch defender is the worlds most expensive defender.

That does not surprise Neil Lennon. Lennon said he knew within the first training session that VVD was something special.

Lenny was side by side with old teammate Chris Sutton at BT studious, while pretend Rangers supporter Robbie Savage was asking the questions. Lennon had to watch as big Virgil, Wanyama and Fraser Foster all got sold for big money. The Lurgan man has just parted ways with Hibs and is currently looking to get straight back into management. Maybe he could do some scouting while he is waiting, maybe he could send another Victor Wanyama or Van Dijk to Paradise.

VVD left Celtic for Southhampton in 2015. He has played more games for Celtic than any other club. Nearly 100 million pounds have been exchanged since the defender left Celtic and Liverpool seem to be getting their 75m pounds worth as they sit top of the EPL table.
