Former Celt Davie Provan believes that Boyata being Celtic’s best defender tells its own story and that the player is bang average.
Taking a swipe at the Belgian, Provan was clear that the player has played Celtic like a fiddle and will likely get his move for the window closes.
‘The big fella is bang average himself, but you may have thought he was Franco Baresi this week.
‘World Cup semi-finalist or not, Boyata is distinctly mediocre.
