CeltsAreHere attended today’s pre-match press conference ahead of the Conference League second leg against Bodo/Glimt.

The audio from the presser will be on our social media channels later today.

Ange confirmed there would be no returns for this game i.e no Kyogo or David Turnbull coming back into the fold. There are no new injuries after the Dundee game at the weekend and the manager will field a very strong side on the night.

Asked about not training on the Bodo artificial surface before the game, the manager told CeltsAreHere it would make ‘zero difference’ to the game. Traditionally, teams fly out and take part in a final training session the night before the game inside the opposition’s stadium. Celtic have opted NOT to do that this time around.

The Bhoys are up in the North of Norway where it’s going to be bitterly cold as well as being exposed to the elements on the night.

Captain Callum McGregor fielded questions ahead of the game too. Specifically around the Hoops conceding goals from set-pieces and headers. Callum told CeltsAreHere, he believes it’s being blown out of proportion and that because Celtic don’t concede too many goals in general, it’s being highlighted.

Celtic are hoping to turn around a 3-1 deficit from the first leg. There’s no away goal rule, two goals without reply on the night will take the game into added time. It’s going to be a big ask.
