This is the moment Celtic transfer target Adrian Blake scored a wondergoal against the Hoops in the Europa League.
The Englishman turned out for FC Utrecht last season as they faced the Scottish champions in the European competition at Parkhead.
It was an evening to remember for Celtic who led 3-0 before the 20-minute mark thanks to strikes from Benjamin Nygren, an own goal from Nick Viergever and an Arne Engels penalty.
The Dutch side pulled one back before half-time through Dani de Wit but it was 20-year-old Blake who earned the plaudits for a terrific solo effort from 30 yards which he bent around goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and into the bottom corner.
It was a stunning effort from the winger who is now reportedly fancied by the Hoops and would be available for a fee in the region of around £2.5million.
Sky Sports say Celtic have monitored the England under-19s cap but are yet to officially place a bid which seems to be the common theme in the east end of Glasgow this summer window.
Blake has other interested parties in Wolves and Burnley from the EFL Championship which may spring Celtic into action if they wish to pursue a move for the playmaker. Celts do already have money on the table for Real Oviedo star Haissem Hassan and have reportedly reached out to his representation.
A £6.8m move for the Egyptian could put paid to any potential Blake deal given Camilo Duran is already in the building.
But Blake’s finish last season, from the 3min47 timestamp in the TNT Sports clip above, acts as proof that the attacker can certainly handle the lights and pressure of football in Glasgow on a big European evening.
Dutch sources, when contacted by Celts Are Here, refused to be drawn on transfer interest in their player. But a £2.5m price tag would represent good value for money for the 20-year-old who has plenty of potential.
He managed 41 appearances for Utrecht across all competitions last term and scored four goals including the one vs Celtic in Scotland.
The majority of his playing time was spent on the left-hand side of attack but he can also play on the right as a versatile and accomplished forward.
