Women’s Operations Manager Stewart McGuire added: “Elena leaves Celtic, having played a significant role in a period of unprecedented success for our women’s team, and we thank her for her contribution during her time here.
“Her commitment to developing young players has seen several progress from our Girls’ Academy into the first team, which will stand us in good stead in the years ahead.
“Elena will always be welcome at Celtic, and we wish her every success in the next chapter of her career.
“We are delighted to appoint Grant Scott as our new Head Coach. Grant brings deep knowledge and understanding of Scottish women’s football, having guided Hibernian to their first league title in 18 years in May, and brings valuable experience to the role.
“We look forward to welcoming Grant to the Club as he takes charge of the squad and builds on the strong foundations already in place at an exciting time for women’s football at Celtic.”
