Celtic loanee Paulo Bernardo has certainly got off to an impressive start at Górnik Zabrze, having joined the Polish side on loan for the season with an option to buy believed to be just over £3 million.
Over the last week, Bernardo started against Ferencváros at home last Thursday in the Europa League third qualifying round. In a 1-1 draw, he won the penalty for his side which Kacper Urbański calmly converted.
Bernardo followed that up with an assist last night in the Conference League play-off first leg at home against Monaco in a 3-2 defeat. He was substituted after 81 minutes.
Domestically in Poland, Bernardo has started back-to-back wins, playing 70 minutes against Radomiak in a 3-1 away victory and 60 minutes against Wisła Kraków last weekend.
Górnik currently sit second in the Polish league table with three wins from three and have a game in hand on leaders Legia Warsaw, who sit top on seven points.
Given the reported option to buy of around £3 million, Bernardo is on the right track towards potentially making the move permanent.
Those in Poland must already be impressed by what they have seen from the Celtic loanee after just four appearances.
