Celtic midfielder Jude Bonnar has joined Arbroath in the Scottish Championship on a season-long loan.
Bonnar is the second Celtic midfielder to depart on loan after Kyle Ure joined Crewe Alexandra in English League Two.

The Celtic midfielder made 30 appearances on loan at Ayr United last season, scoring once and providing two assists in that time as they finished seventh.

Arbroath currently sit eighth in the table after two games played, with one draw and one defeat.

Co-managed by David Gold and Colin Hamilton, the Red Lichties finished third in the table last season before eventually losing out 1-0 to Dunfermline in the Scottish Premiership play-offs over two legs.
For Bonnar, it is yet another opportunity to prove himself in the Scottish Championship. With Arbroath impressing last season, they will hope to do even better and potentially win the title or go further in the play-offs, having fallen at the first hurdle last season against Neil Lennonโs side.
