Celtic have officially confirmed that Oasis will open their 2027 world tour with five shows at Celtic Park next May.

The club released a statement on Monday evening following the band’s announcement earlier in the day, confirming Paradise will stage the opening nights of the Live ‘27 tour.

The first show will take place on Friday, May 21, before Oasis return to Celtic Park on May 23, 25, 28 and 29.

The shows will also end a wait of more than three decades for a major concert at Celtic Park.

Celtic said: “These shows also present an opportunity to showcase Celtic Park in a totally different way, and we are sure that the iconic atmosphere our stadium is famous for worldwide will contribute to making these dates some of the most in-demand that Scotland has ever seen.

“Everyone at the Club is thrilled at the prospect of hosting Oasis next year at the start of what is set to be another history-making tour.”

Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited Oasis last year after 16 years apart, with their Live ‘25 tour attracting more than two million people around the world.

Their next tour will now begin in Glasgow’s East End, with Celtic Park hosting all five opening dates before the band moves on to the rest of its schedule.

The club are clearly delighted to see Parkhead used on this scale away from matchdays, with five concerts set to bring huge crowds to Glasgow’s East End.

Five nights of Oasis at Celtic Park should make for one of the biggest runs of concerts Glasgow has seen in years.

The announcement also brings important ticket information for anyone hoping to attend.

Supporters must register through the official Oasis website by 4pm on Thursday, September 17, to have a chance of purchasing tickets.

Celtic have also stressed that the club’s ticket office will not be handling general admission applications, sales or enquiries for the concerts.

Those looking for tickets have therefore been asked not to contact the Celtic Ticket Office regarding general concert sales.

The five-night run will be a very different sight at Paradise, with Celtic Park preparing to welcome one of Britain’s biggest bands more than three decades after its last major concert.

The first night on May 21 will also have the honour of officially launching Oasis’ latest world tour from Celtic Park.
