Celtic has tonight confirmed the permanent signing of Cameron Carter-Vickers after a very successful loan spell. Cameron has signed a four-year deal with the club!

The Hoops announced the deal by typing up a CV that’s gone from being on-loan at Celtic to being at Celtic permanently.

It’s a massive deal for the club and a major signal of intent by the hoops hierarchy to build on what they were doing last season.

Cameron has paved the way for this deal by helping Celtic to the league title. In winning the SPFL title the bhoys secured Champions League football and with that the funds to make the deal a reality.

The American international has been solid at the back for Celtic and has been so important for the club.

We see so many loan players come and go throughout the seasons, it’s fantastic to see Celtic actually keep a guy like CCV at the club.

It’s a big season ahead and Michael Nicholson is proving to be the anti-Peter Lawwell when it comes to getting a deal done.

January was brilliant when we signed three Japanese bhoys before the window had even opened. Now we have Cameron through the door on the first official day of the Transfer window opening.

  1. There wont be a better deal than this all summer. Deep down I always had my doubts CCV would stay on, so absolutely DELIGHTED he has signed on. Best player in the league, well done Celtic.
